Medicare reform should not result in a reduction in your income today or tomorrow.
CMS is implementing a 50% payment reduction, which will cost you money.

"Dear Representative/Senator _____________
I am a physician living/practicing in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The proposed Medical Fee schedule has been published and will take effect in September.
I am enclosing a copy of a letter written by the President of our Chester County Medical Society. It describes the impact that this proposal and its cuts will have on our patients and our practices.
We all recommend the following:
1. Oppose the proposed reduction in the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule conversion
factor.
2. Oppose the proposed reduction in payment for evaluation and management
services reported with Modifier 25.
3. Enact permanent Medicare physician payment reform that includes annual updates
tied to the Medicare Economic Index.
4. Advance site-neutral payment reforms that eliminate financial incentives for
unnecessary hospital acquisition)n of physician practices.
5. Support federal policies that preserve independent physician practices, strengthen
market competition, and improve patient access to affordable community-based
Care.
Respectfully
